Utilities Engineer - HVAC

Summary:

Maintain the HVAC system and work efficiently regarding GMP regulations.

Job requirements:

1.      Supervising and leading team of technicians and distribution of works.

2.      Follow up the periodic maintenance for air handling units, DX units, air curtains, Chillers, pumps, air compressors, cooling rooms and laminar flow units.

3.      Make purchase orders for spare parts of HVAC utilities.

4.      Monitoring Temperature, humidity and pressure difference at the plant through BMS and adjusting the set point required according to regulations.

5.      Follow up of HVAC Qualifications tests and work on any defects during tests.

6.      Make technical comparisons of applied offers and give recommendation for suitable offer.

7.      Prepare URS of required HVAC equipment.

8.      Make provisional design for HVAC systems in new projects.

9.      Sharing the implementation of new projects and coordination with other departments.

10.  Working on upgrading the efficiency of air conditioning equipment and reducing electricity consumption by introducing new ideas and implementing them.

11.  Continuous research and work to provide new ideas useful to the department.

12.  Deliver the required on the job training for all employees in the function to keep them qualified for doing their jobs properly.

13.  Fulfill other related tasks as asked by management and as arising from the business.

Qualifications:

B.Sc. Degree in Engineering.
